Unfortunately we weren’t told about the construction happening right outside the window. It was every day including weekends from 7.00 and incredibly noisy. As a result we couldn’t sleep past 7 and couldn’t open the windows. It is a huge construction site!"

The sockets in the living room did not work. The water drains very poorly in the shower - while you wash, you stand in the water and then the next person has to wait for the water to drain. The old house is very atmospheric in the Parisian style, but it’s hard to lift your suitcase up the stairs since there is no elevator, but it’s worth paying tribute to the staircase is old and very beautiful. Opposite the hotel was being renovated every day from 7 am until the evening, it was very noisy, but we were in preparation for the Olympics and the whole of Paris as a whole was undergoing renovation work. and please attach a handle to the door."

"We were warned about the construction but it was not at the time of booking. This may be an issue for some. They probably started earlier than they should have as the noise began at 6am and it was loud. We dealt with it as we were out most of the time but those early morning hours in the front bedroom were rough. This project is major and will not end anytime soon. Despite this we enjoyed our stay."
